- Provide advice on asset protection, prepare loan documents, trust instruments, wills and various legal documents.
- Resolve conflicts through negotiation, mediation, or litigation in a cost-effective manner. Issues in dispute involve breach of contract, business internal disputes, or disagreements with suppliers or clients, construction, family and criminal.
- Divorce and Separation: Assist clients in navigating the legal processes of divorce and separation, including filing divorce petitions, negotiating settlement agreements, and addressing issues such as property division, parenting, and child support.
- Parenting: Negotiate and establish child custody arrangements and visitation schedules, prioritising the best interests of the child.
- Binding Financial Agreement: Assist in the division of assets and liabilities before, during and after divorce or separation. Provide independent legal advice and prepare binding financial agreements to ensure a fair distribution of property and financial resources.
- Child Support: Negotiate, prepare and establish child support arrangements.
- Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution: Attend mediation services to help families resolve disputes amicably without resorting to lengthy court battles. Prepare mediation position paper and advocate for clients during ADR.
- Estate Planning: Family lawyers can assist in matters related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, and the distribution of assets upon death.
- Domestic Violence and Restraining Orders: Assist victims and alleged offenders in domestic violence matters.
- Legal Consultation: Offer initial consultations to individuals facing criminal charges. Matters handled included domestic violence, drug supply and trafficking, traffic offences, money laundering, fraud, etc.
- Legal Representation: Represent clients in mentions, arraignments, bail hearings, trials, sentencing hearings, coroner’s death investigation, bail investigation, etc.
- Negotiation with Prosecutors: Conduct negotiations with prosecutors to seek reduced charges or sentencing in exchange for a guilty plea. Advocate for favorable plea deals when it is in the best interest of the client.
- Appeals: Appeal for the client in unfavorable verdict, challenging legal errors or issues that may have affected the outcome of the trial.
